The Power Of Paint

Carrie from Thirty Eighth Street is back with us today to share the transformation of these two stunning nightstands in our limited edition color, Peacoat!

Hi Painting Friends! There is great power in paint and I’m beyond excited to share one of my favorite colors from Country Chic Paint in this next furniture makeover!
I started with this really nice set of Drexel Campaign Style End Tables. The prior owner utilized these in their guest bedroom which rarely received guests and were in absolute pristine condition. If it weren’t for the drab and outdated wood grain, I would have been tempted to leave them as is. But, the original finish did nothing for that stunning hardware. It was disguised in all that brown-ness. ;)





I wanted them to pop! So, I selected one of my very favorite colors from Country Chic Paint called, Peacoat. It’s the perfect hint of navy. The dark blue paired with the brass hardware did just the trick and in no time at all I had two stunning show stoppers!























Can you believe the difference? With just a little bit of paint, the hardware becomes the star of the show. Have you tried Peacoat yet? If not, you have to and I want to hear all about your project when you’re finished! I’m obsessed with this color. ;)
