We all [heart] pallet walls! They are all the rage on the TV design shows (think: Fixer Upper) and pinned all over Pinterest. Which is why this is not a tutorial on how to install a pallet wall but rather what to put on that pallet wall once it's up.
When we moved into our home, we needed and wanted something to cover up a wall of planked wood that just felt old and tired. And what better way to get the beach vibe we were going for than with (more!) old wood?

We aren't too over-the-top with our decorating so for us, less is more. Plus, don't you want the several weekend long project to be the showstopper?! We decided to blow up to a 16x20" sweet beach-y photos we have taken of our three kids and framed them in vintage thrift store finds. They are painted the same color in order to work together.

Needing just a little bit more on the wall, my husband came across our kiddos names on real, legit streets during his travels across our home state. We printed these street names on metal at an 11x14" size.

Hope this simple pallet gallery wall provides you with some inspiration for how to decorate yours.

How do you know if that pallet you found besides a dumpster or sitting behind the grocery store safe for your project? Check out a handy pallet cheat sheet on my site. Want more cool wall art ideas? See how I turned a $5 tray into a frame for a vintage photo.
