I've got a thing for bunnies...white bunnies, that is. They make a reappearance each year in my Easter decor...and as bunnies are prone to do, they seem to multiply each year :)
When I spotted this unusual bunny bowl/flowerpot/candy dish at the thrift store for a buck, I decided he needed to join the crew over at my house! But he needed a little makeover first!
PreviewAlthough I was not a fan of the original color, this bunny had a sweet face and I thought he'd look just as sweet (and even cuter) with a coat of white. After cleaning him all up, I filled his bowl with crumpled paper so I wouldn't get any spray paint inside, then gave him three light coats of satin white spray paint.
And just like magic, my bunny turned into a girl :) The pink satin bow I added may have had something to do with his gender change!! I filled the bowl with pink Easter grass, and mini peat pots filled with little eggs.
She is sweet to look at, from any angle! You can click the link below to visit my blog and find out more about this transformation, as well as my many other budget Easter projects.
